Gemini Introduces XRP Credit Card with Crypto Rewards
Gemini, in collaboration with Ripple, has launched a limited-edition XRP credit card that offers customers a new way to earn cryptocurrency rewards for their daily expenses. The card, which is available to US residents, provides up to 4% in XRP rewards without annual fees, positioning it as one of the best accessible crypto premium cards on the market.
The XRP credit card, issued by Webbank as part of the MasterCard World Elite program, allows cardholders to earn 4% in XRP for gas, EV charging, and groceries, 3% for dining, 2% for food, and 1% for all other purchases. New users will also receive a $200 bonus in XRP within the first 90 days after spending $3,000.
XRP Credit Card Rewards Structure
The XRP credit card rewards structure is designed to appeal to a wide range of consumers. Cardholders can earn rewards in various categories, including gas, groceries, dining, and more. According to Gemini, XRP has proven to be the most lucrative reward option under their credit card offers, with users who selected XRP as a reward currency and held it for at least one year seeing returns of over 450% between October 2021 and July 2025.
Ripple’s Support for Gemini’s IPO
Ripple’s support for Gemini’s initial public offering (IPO) reflects the in-depth cooperation between the two companies. Ripple has provided a $75 million credit line to Gemini, which could increase to $150 million. The agreement also introduces Ripple’s new stablecoin, RLUSD, as a credit option once the initial facility has been used.
Gemini’s financial data have been under stress, with a net loss of $282.5 million in the first half of 2025, compared to $41.4 million in the previous year. However, the support from Ripple provides fresh liquidity to Gemini and positions RLUSD in a market dominated by USDT and USDC.
